Client FeedbackMaureen Isle, DoncasterI must say having my eyebrows tattooed on was the best thing I have done in a long long time. I haven't had eyebrows for about thirty years, always having to pencil on, never getting them the same, but now WOW they are wonderful. And I tell everyone, and they all say how good they are. So all I can say now is it was money very well spent. Oh and by the way I am seventy in March 2010, so it is never too late. I AM THRILLED Essjay thank you.
Helen, KeighleyI went from no eyebrows to fantastic eyebrows that enhance my make up and make me look younger. I can't wait to have my lips done next!!
Kathy, KeighleyI love the way my eyebrows enhance my eyes, which have always been a feature of my face, and I always like to face the world fully made up!! Having worked in hospitals over the years, I was also impressed with the high standards of every aspect of the care we received and neither Helen nor I had any problems whatsoever. We would definitely recommend Essjay to everyone interested in her skills!!!
Barby, LeedsI am 54 and have had alopecia since the age of 12 so grew to accept myself with no hair. Then about 3 years ago, following a trauma, I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes. I was more devastated about that than losing my hair. I spent a year or so trying to pencil them in which was time consuming to say the least. Then I heard about Essjay, through a self help group at Pontefract Hospital, and discovered that I could have my eyebrows and eyeliner tattooed on. I went ahead with it and I have never looked back. It didn't hurt anywhere near as much as I thought it would and I no longer have to mess about with pencils. I will definitely go back for them re-touching. I have heard of and seen the results of people who have had this done by others in this field but I would recommend Essjay as I think she is understanding, patient and very professional.
Siobhan , South YorkshireEver since the age of thirteen I have suffered from really bad ache, all over my back, shoulders, chest, neck, chin and forehead. It used to make me feel really down and i never wanted to go out without trying to cover my ache up with makeup. I could never wear fashion tops as the acne was really bad, and I felt very self concious. It was worse when I was at school as people would say stuff, and I had to pile on the makeup to try and hide them, I hated leaving the house without makeup on. There were many occasions I wish the ground would just open up and swallow me in. It really got to me when people would say "omg I have a spot" I felt like saying try and be me for a day then you will know how it feels to have a spot. I use to try lots of different methods to try and get rid of them, like going to the doctors, hospital, taking medication for them, toothpaste, spot creams and non of them really seemed to work and if they did they would come back again. I am 21 and have suffered for many years, even though the doctor said I would only suffer during my teens, mine didn't. It really got to me and got me down especially as none of my friends suffered from them and I just wanted to be like them. I didn't want to have to hide behind makeup any more or wear clothes that covered my back or shoulders up, I just wanted to be like everyone else. I was wishing for the day I could leave the house without applying a thick layer of makeup. After many years of been depressed and feeling down because of my ache I was willing to give anything ago as I just wished for the day I would wake up and they would be gone. I ended up going down to my local beauty salon to see if there were any good facials or anything that could get rid of my ache. I had a good chat with Essjay and she suggested IPL (intense pulsed light) which kills the sebaceous glands and speeds up collegen production. I did a lot of research before I committed myself to it as it is a quite expensive treatment and the results can vary from person to person. In the end I decided to go ahead with the treatment, I was willing to give anything a try as I was desperate to get rid of my ache. I had about two IPL treatments on my neck and I was noticing a slight improvement, I wasn't getting my hopes up as it was still early days. I had a treatment once a month, I think altogether I had five treatments, and after five treatments GUESS WHAT my spots are gone. I can't believe how they cleared up because it was really bad active acne. I am so happy now, I feel a different person and I have so much more confidence. I can go shopping now and buy clothes without having to worry about wheather it will cover my spots up or not. Many of my close friends and family have notice the difference in my skin and how much more confident I am, I can now leave the house without having to wear makeup. I am so happy and can't believe they are finally gone after all these years of suffering. I know a lot of people who are reading this now are probably thinking I have heard it all before and it's just another treatment, but I would really recommend it, It has worked for me and I have tried everything to try and clear my ache. I hope this message can help others who are suffering. Thanks to Essjay and IPL technology, it has changed my life.
Shelley, DoncasterI was one of Essjay's original models for the eyeliner treatment whilst qualifying. She has always been very professional and is a real perfectionist. I have since had my eyebrows done and i am extremely impressed. It has completely changed the shape of my face for the better. Thank you Essjay i have now become a Permanent Cosmetics girl. I love it!!!!
Pauline, DoncasterAfter suffering with alopecia and the consequent loss of eyebrows for a couple of years I heard about permanent cosmetic treatment when I visited the Enlighten Support Group at D.R.I. I decided to go ahead and have tattooed eyebrows and am delighted with the results. After the initial and follow up treatments which both went exceedingly well, my eyebrows look great and give me increased confidence. Essjay was very professional and friendly and I would recommend her to anyone who is thinking of having similar cosmetic treatment. Thanks Essjay
Michelle, West YorkshireI want to thank you Essjay for giving me perfect eyebrows. I've wanted this for so long and after carefully choosing the right person to do them, all I can say is I have chosen pretty damn well! All my friends and family keep popping round to see them (you'd think id had a new baby! lol), and they love them too. You are so talented in your skilled trade and I will always recommend you to others. Its a pleasure to know you, thanks once again. I LOVE MY BROWS!!!
Majid, South YorkshireAs a male battling Alopecia Universalis I have no eyebrows and eyelashes. After receiving various treatments for several years to no avail, I finally decided to opt for something different – semi-permanent make up. After doing extensive research it took me almost a year to decide whether to get this treatment done or not as to me it looked more for females. I was wrong on that as this procedure is for any one, every person’s requirements are different and can be discussed beforehand - You can shape the eyebrows however you want them to be. The change since having semi-permanent eyebrows & eyeliner is huge. The happiness I felt after the procedure was unexplainable. I now have so much confidence and can live my life without worry. I would highly recommend other men to step forward & give this a go..! It’s definitely a life changer - the results look so real and unnoticeable. I have been joyful ever since I went ahead with this treatment and should have done it a lot sooner - I enjoy taking photos so much more now! Essjay really is a true perfectionist and takes a lot of time and care in doing an expert job. She goes that extra mile to make sure you are happy when you leave that clinic - Thank you so much Essjay ! They say you are the best in the field and now I know why :-) Majid
